We would like to emphasize and introduce two destinations in particular:
A look behind the scenes - The wool world of Steiner1888
Located at the foot of the Dachstein, in an inconspicuous place called Mandling, high-quality loden fabrics have been produced for over 130 years. With much love, skill and according to old craftsmanship, products with a sustainable character are created. Come with us on a journey to the Steiner1888 wool world.
The old walls of the manufactory
A look behind the scenes is worthwhile. During a guided tour through the old walls of the manufactory, you "understand" the positive qualities of wool, which are not only to be found in Steiner1888's own interior and fashion collections, but also in many of the world's famous fashion brands: Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Jil Sander or even Yves St. Laurent rely on the fabrics of the local loden factory.

Marvel at the refinement of local plants and fruits, from the harvest to the finished ointments, essences, fine brandies and Austrian whiskies. In addition, there is the possibility to have a snack or a coffee snack from the pastry chef Doris Warter in the snack station and on the terrace.
